<p>I'm gonna be a freshman this fall majoring in econ and I was wondering if it was possible to eventually double major in something in film and television with the econ because theyre in different schools. Anybody know if it's possible?</p>

<p>i dont think you can double major in econ and tv/film because they are such different depts. also, it would kind of be impossible because tv/film requires so many classes once u get accepted to the school (which is extremely selective). like, you might be able to do econ and english or something, but i've heard the tv/film only allows u to get a bachelor in that and you can't get another degree with it.</p>
<p>really? Is that the same with the music major also because I'm thinking of majoring with bio and then adding music as my second major the next year.</p>
<p>for starters, if youre planning to double major in a major that is offered outside of the college of letters and sciences, then you're going to have to be admitted into that college first. so perhaps check out how you can get into the film school or music school, then after that, see if there are pre-requisite or preparation classes for that major.</p>
