To help save my parents (and myself) the financial burden i want to double major in either economics/ international relations and psychology in three years.

Is this possible? does anyone know anyone who's doing this? if so how many courses are they taking per semester and how many do most students take?

It may be possible, but don't count on it. It may also not allow you to study abroad or take many electives, which do play a big role in the lives of students who choose to have those experiences. You will see when you get to Tufts.

I think it would be easier if you have some AP credit to build off of. I've found it easy to fill IR and Econ requirements, and could probably graduate early without much problem. I've also taken two summer courses. If you can plan well, and if you already have some requirements filled, it may work. But you'd probably have to take five credits per semester throughout, and may not get as much out of them if they're all demanding.

Three and a half years is also a possibility.
