Double majoring at Loyola Marymount, UCSB, or Cal Arts - any experiences?

I have a student looking at these schools over spring break and wanting to dance but also double major. I’m going to do some research for her but was wondering if anyone here had any direct experience with any of these programs. Her focus is not ballet. Thanks in advance.

I know this is late, but here’s our experience. My daughter just finished her freshman year at LMU. She choice LMU over Chapman because she wanted to double major. She’s studying dance and health and human sciences (on a physical therapy track). I’d guess about 3/4 of LMU’s dance majors are double majors, many pairing up dance and education … but also some in physics, political science and computer science. My daughter is a contemporary dancer (LMU’s focus) and she’s 100 percent pleased with her college choice. I especially appreciate that dancers are treated like athletes here … they have a physical therapist who works with them on injury prevention and rehab. We didn’t encounter any other schools that do that. Best of luck!

@meb1963 thank you!
