How difficult is it to double major in the Business School and the College of Arts and Letters? Specifically, Marketing and Economics? I actually met a junior this fall who was double majoring in these two, but I didn't get the chance to ask her about it. So it can't be impossible, but will I be miserable? I know I'll have to take more small, higher-level classes instead of being able to take general ones.

Looking around on the ND website told me that for Marketing I would need 18 marketing credits, 18 non-business credits, and 8-11 business or non-business credits. I think economics requires 2-semester econ sequence, 24 credits in econ at the junior/senior level (there's a set of specific requirements for those) and Calc II. However, I don't really understand what this all means. Could I take 18 marketing credits and use the 24 credits to fill my remaining 26-29 credits?

I'm not going to ND til next fall but I figured I should ask now because I don't want to waste classes freshman year and have trouble later on. Does anyone have any experience with this?
