Double Majoring at UCLA after transferring?

It seems that the prospect of switching majors after transferring is unlikely at best, even for majors that are not impacted.

Assuming a transfer student is in good academic standing with respect to their subject of interest, are double major requests generally approved for non-impacted majors?

For instance, I applied for and was accepted to the psychology program. However, I now want to study mathematics. How likely is it that I will be able to declare a double major? Are my odds at least better than changing majors?

Thank you for your help.

hey man, kind of random but dd you by any chance figure out the double majoring process as a transfer student?

thinking of applying polisci then picking up communications as a double major for LA
