Right now I’m a General Biology major at UCSD (at Earl Warren), I’m a freshman who will be starting college for the first time in September. I intend to change my general biology major at least once to either physiology and neuroscience or human biology in the near future. Right now I don’t know what I want to do in the future, but I know that I want to do something in science.
I recently learned about the bioengineering field and found that all the things that bioengineers do are pretty interesting and are even things that I might consider doing in the future.
Bioengineering (and even Biology for that manner) are impacted majors at UCSD and they’re also really big so I know there’s a lot of work to do for both. But my question is: is it too far-fetched to try double majoring in Bioengineering and Biology? And if it is would it be too tough to switch from Biology to an impacted major like Bioengineering?
Thanks for the help!
