Double majoring?

I just wrote out a long post and it disappeared so.. bah.

I'm going to cut it down and make it juvenile.

I like art. Architecture doesn't seem to be what I expected it was, I thought there would be more knowledge on how to actually design readily constructable <stuff>.</stuff>

But I'm choosing to do EE so I can get a good job.

My question is, how awful is double majoring EE/Arch?
And what can go with EE?

Some things I've thought about: physics, CpE, art-design (don't know how I'd get this to work, though).

I'd also like to at least minor in Japanese.

The more your two majors overlap, the better in terms of workload, etc. D1 who got astro/physics double degrees had several classes that met the requirements of both majors; she also graduated with a german minor and probably averaged 15 hrs per semester. D2’s environmental science and policy/Spanish literature will have 17-18 hr. semesters to get everything in. Both came in with a boatload of AP credits, which also made getting double degrees (150 cr. hours; different than double majoring) possible.

For your situation, I don’t know what restrictions Clark makes on EE majors, required classes, etc. You’d need to look into that, the required courses for your major, and whether you’ll be able to fit in enough classes to meet the requirements of a 2nd major. Between the options listed, they probably vary widely on requirements for a major.
