How difficult or easy is it to double major at Dickinson? Do many kids do it? Is the admin office helpful about making it a smooth process for, kids who do it? Any advice appreciated.
My D and her boyfriend both double majored. I don’t think it was a big challenge – my D was off campus 2 semesters and still made it work. Had time for a senior thesis, too. It will be their academic advisor who will help them figure out course sequencing, etc. There is info online regarding all the major requirements, too.
Thanks, INTparent.
Double majoring seems to be very common at Dickinson, and pretty smooth. My D is double majoring in Psychology and Italian. And she is studying abroad for all of junior year - one semester in Italy, and one in Australia. And still expects to graduate on time next year. She did have one semester where a psychology class she wanted to take interfered schedule-wise with an required Italian class, and had to pick a different psychology class instead.
