double majoring

How long does double majoring take for business: Accounting and Finance?

Both majors are very closely intertwined. What's your interest in acquiring both rather than just one?

I'd say if you wanted to, with full schedules and maybe some summer school, you could complete both in 5 years.

double majoring can rely expand my job opportunities in a variety of fields (in business) and wow, I didn't know it takes 5 years! I heard from sum of my friends that they finished in like 4 years.

I mean, is it better 2 double major or just single major?

I mean if you load up your classes every semester, possibly take summer classes, and come in with most of your basics already completed... yes it is do-able in 4 years. You have to remember coursework for a single major is designed for a 4 year term, and many people take longer than that to complete just that one major. IMHO, it's better to just single major. Sure, minor in something else... but often times when a person double majors, one of their majors will not be in use post-college. Look over the curriculum and decide for yourself, this is all just my opinion from my experience at A&M as an engineering major. I don't know how tough or time-consuming business classes are first hand. Talking to an A&M counselor about this would be a good idea as well.
