Do many people double major at Penn? Is it possible to double major across schools? If so, what is the procedure for that?

you can double major in your particular school. many people do it, probably mostly in the College, but i'm pretty sure people have double concentrations in wharton and double majors in SEAS.

now, double major across schools isn't called a double major. It's called a dual degree. These are difficult to do, but yes, possible. M&T is management and technology, which gets the degree from SEAS and Wharton. You have to put that down specifically on your application. I'm not sure how the others are, but for dual degrees you need to know what you want to do and right off the bat when you enter, and most likely when you apply. Just so you know, for dual degrees many need to stay an extra semester though it is probably conceivable to do it in the standard 8 semesters, and you will probably need to do 6-6.5 credits a semester for the most part (5.5 is usually the max for a non-dual degree person)

I know that there is a dual degree program between Wharton and the College (Huntsman) for international business, but what if you have the desire to double major in something other than international business, how would you go about doing that?

Then in that case, you would begin as a single degree and apply for a dual degree after your freshman year. For example, if you're in Wharton and have a 3.0 by the end of the first year, then you can officially enroll into the College by filling out the form. For CAS/SEA/Nursing to Wharton, you need a 3.66.

Theoretically, its possible to get a triple degree and 6 majors while submatriculating in a graduate program.
