wat abt CS then?

Double majoring in CS and business is going to be hard and time-consuming. Majoring in only CS is already quite challenging for a lot of people. Majoring in business is already quite challenging for a lot of people. Combine the two, and you get a very challenging, time-consuming double major. You have to be really committed and willing to put in the effort. You'll be rewarded for your effort if you get through it (CS/business double major = very hireable) but I'm sure it won't be easy.

I agree with Think except about business. Tepper is pretty easy :)

Once you get facebook, you can scope out the kids who do Business/CS doubles. There are more of them than you think. I used to think CS/Econ doubles were more numerous but I don't think this is the case anymore.

Either way, nobody said it will be easy but also not as hard as most people suggest. Kids at CMU for some reason tend to brag about the difficulty of courses (we also tend to brag about how many all-nighters we pull), weird yes...

If you come here, try to avoid getting in "I can take harder courses than you!" contests. It's just stupid and it's not beneficial to your grades or mental health. But if you're in a challenging program, it can be tempting.

^ Haha that is hilarious.
We here at NH 5 don't do that. :)

But yea... course difficulty is not always as hard as you hear.

so we can still get a major in a subject whose school we rnt even in... if so I think I finally understand lol. I basically need to fill my extra classes with CS classes and work toward that degree also.

Also thanks alot for everyones help

Yea and your advisor will make it much more clear once you get here.

Sometimes the specifications and requirements for various departments and majors/minors will be confusing and sometimes even contradictory, so you have to talk to people (faculty advisors, usually) to get it sorted out. It's an ongoing sort of battle, but it's really not a whole lot of trouble.
