Dr. Chungs vs. Actual Math Test

How does the score in Dr. Chungs math book compare to the score in the actual test?
There's 20 practice tests in Dr. Chung's and so far I've done 5 of them and scored:
Test 1: 640
Test 2: 620
Test 3: 690
Test 4: 670
Test 5: 690

If anyone has used this book before can they tell me their scores in Chungs and also their actual scores?

I wouldn’t recommend taking the Chung tests. While the 50 tips might be useful, taking tests aside from the blue book can practically be a complete tests. Especially when they are “harder than the real thing” such as Chung’s book.

I haven’t used Dr. Chung’s SAT Math I, but for IC and IIC, I was consistently scoring 100 points higher on other prep materials (including Blue Book for Subject tests).

For Math Level 1, I was getting ~630 on Dr.Chung’s, but got 750 on the real thing.

I did notice, however, that Dr. Chung uses his own raw <-> scaled score chart (for IC, at least, so that probably provides a decently accurate score conversion.)

The first time I took my SATs, I got a 620 on my math (horrible, I know). I used Dr. Chung’s book to study and I was consistently scoring 650’s a few months back. Waiting on my new scores to see if the book helped!

Dr. Chung’s math book is quite difficult. I’ve received around 710s on the practice tests in his book. However, I easily got an 800 in math on the May 2013 SAT.
