I currently live in Florida. I have a 3.9 GPA(unweighted) and a 23 ACT(no preparation), I will be retaking the ACT again to up my scores with my goal composite being a 25+.
I’ve taken honors courses as well as AP courses and my senior year schedule consists of 9 classes.
I have been president of HOSA(Health Occupations Students of America) as well as an active member in key club. I teach dance and guitar as well as dance on a team 25 hours a week. I have completed volunteer work within hospitals in material management, medical records, and assisting nurses on floors. I currently am a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) within a hospital.
My intended major is nursing.
What are my chances of getting into University of Kentucky?
If you have been accepted what scores did you have that gave you acceptance?
Thank you for your help and/or advice! It’s greatly appreciated!
I was accepted with a 28 act and a 3.4 UW/4.3W GPA. Even with your lower ACT score in respect to the average UK student, you should still get accepted because of your high GPA. Try to get up the ACT to a 25 to make it a definite match.
Thank you very much for your response! It’s very appreciated.
Kudos on getting accepted and having awesome grades/ACT score.
No prob! Are you a junior or a senior?
I’m a senior Class of 2015! And you?
I know this is a year later, but did you get in?
