Drew or Muhlenberg?

I have been accepted to both schools and am currently trying to decide between the two. I am going to major in theatre, preferably musical theatre, and could use some advice. One of my major concerns about Muhlenberg is it’s location. Drew definitely has the favorable location with easy access into the city, and I know the Broadway connections could be very useful. However, I was extremely impressed with the production I saw at Muhlenberg. help

Allentown is only 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Manhattan - actually more daily commuters than you would think. The Lehigh Valley, with all its colleges and new entertainment venues, has a pretty vibrant arts scene and Muhlenberg is located in the very pretty West End. Not quite like the affluence of Madison, but still pretty nice!

My son is also considering both schools for MT. His gpa is on the lower side, but he’s got some talent (his coach thinks he’s got a shot at some smaller BFA programs). He also interviews very well. Any ideas which schools might be a better academic shot?

@bobbyg Standardized test scores are higher at Muhlenberg than Drew. Average 28 ACT vs 25, or 1220 vs. 1100 SAT. Drew is also test optional. I got this info from College Data dot com. GPA was not comparable because it’s unweighted for Muhlenberg (3.3) and weighted for Drew (3.56).

Ok thanks!!
