I was looking at some schools in the northeast, and I was wondering how are Drexel and Northeastern for Engineering?

NE is a great school for the social sciences, Drexel has a great math program.

Drexel's engineering is entirely overrated.

^^ so its not that good?

It's overrated in its own city. Our engineering at Temple isn't as well regarded, but I dont think Drexel has a significantly better program. Not to mention Temple is a better value.

I agree about Temple. Drexel is well-known and respected for engineering, but the campus is terrible and the college life is lacking. It is literally in the shadow of Penn, without any of the plusses. Plus-it's very expensive. The strengths are the co-op program and....well, I can't think of another one.

I was always under the impression that Drexel engineering was equal to Penn engineering, and even better in some fields...then again I was in CAS, not SEAS so I don't really know...
