Drexel, IITs or BITS?

Hello everyone I am Sarthak and I currently live in India. I applied to a lot of US universities this year, most of which were ivies and sadly, I couldn’t get into a single ivy. Maybe because my score was only 2240, or maybe because I had weak ECs. The only college I got into was Drexel. Now, what I want is to apply as a transfer student to the ivies and all the really good universities that give financial aid to international students and I wanted to know which university I should join that would give me a better environment to strengthen my profile so that I can get into the good colleges for Computer Science. The reason I aim mostly for ivies is that they are some of the only good universities that give handsome aid even to international applicants.

So, it all boils down to IIT and BITS of India, or Drexel of US. Which should I join so that I will have better chance to get into universities like Cornell and Columbia for transfer and/or for MS if I fail to make the transfer. Also, I would really appreciate some tips as to what all I should do to increase my chances. What are the outstanding opportunities that the three universities/colleges offer that I can try and participate in to improve my chances.

I would really prefer some true harsh advice rather than sugar coated words because I have already had a severe blow with the rejections. I really appreciate your help. Thank you.

Ivies aren’t the only Universities that give handsome aid to international students.

And yes, any University in the USA above rank 60 in the US News National University Rankings is much better than any of the IITs/BITs.

The best course of action for you would be to try and give your IIT/BITS exams right now and see if you get in. If you get in, then great, if you don’t then reapply next year looking for non-ivy league universities to that give aid. The ivy league is extremely hard for anyone to get into.
