My sister got into Drexel this year, so I wanted to ask a question for her. Is it worth joining a Drexel sorority? I know it costs a little more, and not that many people join a frat/sorority...so any thoughts?

I am currently in a Drexel University Fraternity and I know a bit about Drexel Greek Life. There are 5 sororities here at Drexel:
Alpha Sigma Alpha
Delta Phi Epsilon
Phi Sigma Sigma
Phi Mu
Delta Zeta
(Sigma Sigma Sigma coming in fall 2011)

While it does cost more to be involved in Greek life here on campus I believe it is definitely worth it. Even if you don’t plan on joining a Greek organization I highly recommend rushing for two reasons. 1: It is a great way to network in the Drexel community and meet tons of new people. 2:You get a bunch of free stuff!!

Also, Drexel Greek life helps run a good majority of events on campus. Get involved with greek life and be prepared to get involved in your university like very few other students.

It’s a great time and congratulations on your sister choosing Drexel!

Best of luck in your endeavors, see you in the fall!
