<p>I've applied to both as a Transfer for Business Econ/Accounting and I really like both in their own aspects. </p>
<p>I feel like Fordham would have more the college feel with more of an on campus lifestyle. I know Fordham might be ranked high but after college ratings are out the door. I can't imagine Fordham not being able to help their students get an internship. </p>
<p>On the other Hand Drexel has the co-op and has the ability to give me 12 months work experience in the 3 years while I am there. I would graduate with work experience and probably be ahead of most other graduates. Although I am all for the co-op program I don't feel overly excited about it like I do Fordham. </p>
<p>I really like Fordham for its traditional campus in the middle of the bronx. (Applied to RH by the way) I love all the green space on campus and the fact that it has athletic fields for intramurals etc. </p>
<p>I visited both schools in the same week during the summer. I don't think I was able to see a lot of Drexels campus. In fact I am hoping someone might be able to show me some pictures that might sway my decision. I like Drexel and the fact that it really truly is urban but at the same time I really REALLY want to be able to play sports, intramurals, club, etc. I don't know if Drexel does a lot of this in doors in the new rec center but that would be better than nothing. </p>
<p>I went to the Drexel accepted students presentation in SoCal yesterday and was not overly impressed. I knew I really like Drexel for the co-op program but I was not able to really learn much new about Drexel. </p>

<p>Almost in the same situation as you. Drexel has been making a lott of progress in terms of rankings and so has been Fordham. They’re both in the top tier of national universities. Co-op at Drexel is great for job placement. Businessweek gave Drexel an A+ in job placement of recent graduates. ANw its not all about the rankings. They’re both good schools. Fordham is in NYC, close to Wall Street and they have many internship opportunities, the Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx is beautiful and safe, students there are very friendly. I don’t know about Drexel a lot since I have not yet visited.

<p>I used to be very enthusiastic about attending either Fordham or NYU-Poly, but after going to the Accepted Student’s day at Drexel yesterday, I gotta say it’s pretty phenomenal, and I’ll probably be attending. I found the campus very urban, but also VERY safe. They’ve got at least 5 police forces, and they partner heavily with Penn University and the Penn Science College. The part of Philly that Drexel’s in is safe, clean, but still set up like the rest of the city, because it is just part of the city. I found Fordham to be very much seperate from the city, and NYU-Poly to be entirely cemented into the city to the point where it was indistinguishable, but Drexel balances it out fantastically. I thought their programs sounded great, and everyone just seemed happier than at other universities I’ve visited. Overall, I was interested in the co-op, but i’ll be attending for the city.</p>
<p>Fordham would be my choice. Definitely. Being so close to NYC beats being in Philadelphia any day. There would be many places in Manhattan or the outskirts where you’d be able to get an internship. And I do think the prestige of Fordham may help when in competition with individuals applying to the same jobs as you post-graduation.</p>
<p>@rfry11 I was going to go to the accepted student day but decided the 385 dollars to get there last minute was probably not worth it. Especially since j have already visited. </p>
<p>How was the accepted student day? I’d be in the business school and i know it’s got some new buildings and some great opportunities. </p>
<p>I like Drexel but I feel like I will miss the traditional campus feel. I wish there was more grass on campus or at least a quad or something. Maybe I missed it on my tour in the middle of the summer. I know Drexel is a great option for me but I’m not falling head over heals for it like I am for some other schools.</p>
