driving to orientation

so all the incoming freshmen can drive to UCLA for orientation right? and park in the parking lot for 3 days? I heard something about that we have to wake up early and go buy parking tickets everyday is that true? because im pretty sure my parents aren't waking up at 7 to drive me to UCLA lol

I think you're better off having someone drop you off if you live around LA. Most parents do drive their kids to orientation, some leaving even at 6:30.

Being on time is not mandatory; showing up at 8:30 is fine.

well I live in rancho cucamonga, near ontario airport if you know where that is at... normally it'll take about an hour to get to UCLA so it would be easier for me to drive myself...

it's definitely not unheard of to drive yourself... if you don't mind paying $8/day for parking and getting up early to purchase said parking passes....
