I just thought I might ask this here... Something really strange happened with my schedule for this fall. I noticed a couple of weeks after the first add/drop that one of the courses I had added is now shown as "dropped course"... However, I am pretty sure I did not drop it. Any idea of other reasons for which it might be like that? Or, is it really me who has done that unintentionally?

I know with some courses...if it's full or over capacity...the prof or secretary will go through a drop low priority students from the class. It happens a lot in COMM.

Also...I had another friend who was dropped b/c it was discovered that he was missing a prereq.

All of this is really strange. JTF says there are 6 or 7 free spots (out of 40), and the course of study doesn't mention any prereq... btw, it's PHIL 346 (Modern Political Philosophy)....

I thought that if they'd drop me, at least they'd inform me of it...
I'll try to add it again... hopefully that won't happen anymore...
