<p>I checked Learner Services in People Soft again to see if anything changed. To my dismay, two of the classes I want were dropped: Interpreting Human Experience (not really surprised with this one) & Intro To Cultural Theory (an intro english class). </p>
<p>SHucks... Anyone else not get classes they wanted??</p>
<p>don't worry too much about it--I don't think the profs even have a role in who's dropped this early (other than saying who they want the scheduling people/programs to give preference to).</p>
<p>If you really want to be in the courses it's always a good idea to send an email to the prof or show up to the first class (even if you're not signed up) and talk to them. You'll have lots of flexibility and opportunities the first two weeks of school to change or get into courses, so don't worry about any of this now. Oh, and your JA will be there, helping you along the whole way if you need it.</p>
<p>Thanks for the response Haon. I'm sure it will all work out fine. I was just initially a bit disappointed. It will be nice to chat with other students anyway about what classes to take and so on. I'm just a tid-bit worried that all the smaller classes will fill up and I really like small discussion-based learning. We'll see how it all ends up I guess.</p>
