<p>When you drop a class with a "W" does it still look on your transcript as if you took the same amount of units but got a W in the class, or does it drop you down the number of units the class is. For example, if your current unit load is 16, and you take a "W" in a 4 unit class, will your unit load for the semester drop to 12, or will you still be considered as having taken 16 units, with a "W" for that class? Thanks!</p>
<p>Since you dont get credit for that 4 unit W course, that W will still show up on your transcript, but your transcript will show you as only having earned 12 units for course work. I'm not 100% sure but I think that means your unit load is only 12 units. Sorry if that wasnt helpful, Im not quite sure what you meant by this.</p>
