Dropping classes second semester senior year

I have applied to UCI, UCB,UCLA,UCSD, and UCD. 4.35 GPA with a 4.5 UC GPA. Right now I am taking ceramics (required)

Ap lit, Ap macro, and AP Physics C, and a class in college (Calculus 2). My problem is that calculus 2 starts around the same time Physics C is, therefore if I am to take that class I would need to drop physics for an off period. Note that I have already taking AP Physics 1 and Ap calc BC. I am majoring in Computer science and I don’t know if there would be any consequences in dropping either. Which one should I drop? Personally I hate the physics class and its teacher but I am going to drop the one with least consequences. Does anyone know is this will really hurt my chances of getting into UCB/UCLA

Have already taken or currently taking? AP Calculus BC qualifies for Calc II credit at a lot of universities. Check if it does at the schools you’re applying to. It wouldn’t make sense to take Calc II if you already have taken AP Calculus BC. If you are currently taking AP Calc BC and it qualifies you for Calc II credit, stay with your high school schedule. If it doesn’t qualify you for Calc II credit, drop AP Physics C.

Cannot say how much of an impact of dropping either one but if you do, you need to contact the UC’s fir any schedule changes.

Freshmen: If you change schools, add or drop a course, or fail to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you must notify the UC Application Center by email or postal mail. Your correspondence must include your name, UC Application ID number and your signature (if you mail a letter), and will be available to all the campuses to which you applied.

If you receive an offer of admission, be sure to confirm with the campus admission office that they are aware of the deficient grade or schedule changes. Although you must notify the campus of these changes, we cannot guarantee that a campus can go back to review an application after correspondence has been received. Make sure to save a copy of your correspondence just in case.
