Just because a school has engineering, even if it’s ABET accredited, doesn’t mean it’s good. Swarthmore is a very good school, but not really for engineering. One only needs to tour Swarthmore and Penn State to see how vastly different their facilities are. Toys are important. If they weren’t they would be a broader proliferation on online only engineering degree options.
True, but the ABET list still should be the starting point. Going to a school that offers engineering degrees that aren’t accredited does not make sense for most people. Spending time researching schools that don’t even offer engineering if that is the intended major is not an effective use of time.
