Dual Citizenship Good or Bad

I have dual citizenship between Japan and the United States. I have noticed that certain schools such as dartmouth only had 2 Japanese undergrads in their 2012 admissions. Does this help me for college admissions?

Having US citizenship will help a lot. Having Japanese citizenship won’t really help much/at all. Schools try to limit the number of international students, which is part of the reason that there are only two Japanese students at Dartmouth even though you can assume many more tried to get in. The acceptance rate for internationals at top US schools is quite low, but since you can just use your US citizenship, that will help you tremendously.
