What about CMU for double majors? I'm not sure about dual-degree but if you want to do computer science, It is required to have a double major (I think, not sure) and in Tepper business school you can take a double major in the college of arts and sciences, but im not sure about engineering...you should check it out though, seems cool.

So when you say double major you get two diplomas with just 2 different majors? Or do you get 2 different degrees (and also 2 majors)?

I have 2 separate diplomas from Northwestern. :) I double-majored in chemical engineering and environmental engineering.

What is the difference between having two diplomas and two degrees whartonalum?...oh and at Penn your not limited to the MT program. You can basically make your own anything between any of the schools. They are very flexible and work with you from what I hear..am i correct whartonalum?

I don't quite remember where I was going with that... hahaha. I guess I couldn't tell whether all schools did it like Penn - where you can start out in one school but end up in more than one and get more than one degree. I guess I was thinking that some people who are saying "double major" mean just that - where they get two majors, but within the same school so they might get a BA in English and French, but it would just be considered one degree. IDK.

But yes, you can do a dual degree at Penn between any of the 4 undergraduate schools and the advisors from both schools work with you to help plan your classes and keep you on track.
