Dual Degree (Double major?) - IOE, Business

<p>First off, what is the difference between a dual degree and double majoring?</p>

<p>Anyway..... I want to do business but everyone I know says get a technical degree first as it's the safer, "proper" thing to do.</p>

<p>Industrial Engineering is the closest thing I know to business, so if I get a degree in that from the College of Engineering and get a BBA from Ross, is it worth it?</p>

<p>Will this benefit me in anyway? Or will it just be a waste of a year/money...</p>

<p>I am unlikely to go into the engineering field after college, I plan on working on Wall Street or something like that</p>

<p>Do you know anyone that has done it? What do they say about it? How is their GPA? How long did their education take?</p>

<p>ANY info on this subject, whatever it may be, would be greatly appreciated. Persuade me or dissuade me. Anything flies. Thanks!</p>
