If i apply to Huntsman for ED and they defer me, will that mean that they also sent my application to for example Wharton and they deffered me too?
As in is it possible to be deffered by Huntsman and accepted by Wharton for ED and get the result today? Or if huntsman deffers you they just keep ur application and reconsider it with normal?
I think that if they deferred you from Huntsman it means that during RD they will reconsider you for huntsman and if they reject you then wharton will consider you for acceptance.
I do not see why it is not possible but i think it is more common for people to be deferred from their dual degree during ED and then reconsidered during RD. if you get rejected from huntsman now and accepted to wharton, then this means that according to the admins you have absolutely no chance of getting to huntsman no matter what the rd pool looks like.
according to other ccers, here’s what the faq for deferred applicants says:
" If I applied to a Coordinated Dual-Degree, Accelerated, or Specialized Program,
will my application be considered again for both the Coordinated Dual-Degree,
Accelerated, or Specialized Program and the single-degree school I selected?
Yes. Your application will be considered in Regular Decision for both the Coordinated DualDegree,
Accelerated, or Specialized program and your single-degree option."
