Does anyone know how competitive the Huntsman, Jerome Fisher, and Vagelos Programs are?

I know there are selective and have limited seats, but does anyone know actual admission percentages etc.

i read somewhere for huntsman that like 800 kids applied, and they accepted like 50-60ish? i'm not sure though. But it is more competitive than the normal applications; there are less applicants but those applicants are all highly qualified.

I heard the same thing for Huntsman. I know that Penn doesn't publish the hard numbers for that, though.

They don't publish hard numbers, but I do know the app #'s aren't that high and the admit numbers aren't that low. They're more self-selective than you might think: a lot of people get scared off from the additional application material (essays, language proficiency...) or don't apply because they don't think they have a chance. The admission rate is higher than you might think, but all of the applicants are qualified.

I don't know the # of apps but as far as admits, somewhere in the 50s sounds about right for Huntsman. I think they enroll around 45 and they brag that the yield is 80+%, in Harvard territory.

If they had the same ratio of apps as the rest of Wharton (9% admit) they'd get around 600 apps, so it doesn't sound incredible that they might get slightly more.

Suffice it to say that it's very competitive to get in and that's already from a self-selected group as others have said.
