I got a B in a dual enrollment class in high school with community college, and unfortunately, I got a 3.0 in that class from it. In my future, I want to go to a grad school like medical school, and I want to know if that B will be thought of the same as the grades I earn in real college. Will it average in as a 3.0 to my total GPA as if I took it in real college?(Feel free to move this thread if I didn’t post it in the right category).
Yes, all college courses and grades, including those taken while in high school, will be included in GPA calculations for medical school. B = 3.0 for medical school GPA recalculation purposes (+/- gives +0.3/-0.3). College GPA calculations weight grades by the number of credits (after conversion if the colleges use different credit systems).

Thank you
One B will not kill grad school or med school admissions. So please put this out of your mind.
Haha, you’re right, thanks. @happymomof1, I’ve been thinking about that all day, and yea it doesn’t really matter xD Im still a highschool student so I shouldn’t even be thinking that far in the future, but, do you think that this is a big deal for the undergrad college I will apply for? Do I have to submit the community college transcript to my undergrad college when applying?
You need to submit your CC transcript when you apply to undergrad. But again, one B there is not going to wreck your chances of admission anywhere. Your overall profile will determine where you get in.
Your college transcripts follow you for the rest of your life. You will need to provide this transcript whenever you apply for admission to a degree program at an accredited college or university in the US, or for a job at a place that asks for all of your transcripts. It truly is a PITA to have to request umpteen transcripts, so for now do your best to keep all of your DE classes at the same community college.
Haha, thanks! I should have probably thought of this before I signed up for a class at a different university this summer lol.
