I am currently taking Dual Enrollment classes through a local community college. I will be attending UF after I graduate. Will whatever grades I earn in these classes factor in to my college GPA? Furthermore, I am planning on applying to medical school after I get my bachelors. Will my Dual Enrollment classes and grades also play a role in my acceptance to medical school?

No, your DE classes will not become part of your “UF” GPA. They also don’t play a “direct” role in med school applications.

Of course your grades in these classes will factor in gaining acceptance to UF and if you earn your AA while in high school, into your college/major at UF.

Good Luck!

Your DE courses will factor into other GPAs - like the one Financial Aid uses.
