I am not understanding this invoicing thing. When I look under Fee Invoice it shows a breakdown of tuition expenses, technology fees, etc., then what FPP and BF is paying, showing a balance due of $0 on the bottom. In fact, according to this I get money back. However, under Due Charges it shows a breakdown of fees and looks like I owe money, including a partial tuition fee. This is due by Sept. 4th. Am I missing something here? I don't get it.

I do not believe that you need to pay anything now if you have FPP and BF. The due charges are your tuition and fees minus the FPP (which UCF has already confirmed). Bright Futures will be taken out very soon (this week) and will cover your “due charges”. The remainder (in our case about 5 or 6 hundred dollars) will be dispersed to you/your child whichever way you have set up (we have direct deposit to her college checking account).

Thanks again, seiclan. That’s what I thought, but was getting nervous as the deadline was near. I’m loving this BF and FPP thing. So glad I signed up for FPP years ago as it sure makes a difference now. BTW…the sorority is one of the Kappa Kappa’s…1st choice and she’s very happy!

seiclan, are you saying that they first subtract whatever fees we have to pay for housing, then give us the difference?

If so, do you know if there’s a specific time period for the difference, or is it just whenever they get to it after paying the fees?

I am not sure about housing. I was talking about tuition and fees. If you have BF and FPP they will apply it toward what you owe and refund you the difference. IF you will owe them money after this, it is due by the “due date” (which I believe is tomorrow)!!!

I checked my account last night and it showed a refund after FPP, BF and Pegasus were applied!!

Looks like they updated the account section late yesterday. Now it shows my outstanding balance under Due Charges as $0.
