DUH-Early notices for MT acceptances? WOW!

<p>It's been a while since I've checked in as I've had health issues and have left the college search in my HS Junior D's hands....</p>

<p>I thought you didn't find out you were accepted into MT programs until March/April of your senior year. I am so excited to see many acceptances ALREADY posted for this year's hs seniors in the acceptances thread: </p>

<p>Coastal, Elon, and Texas State are on my D's list. Nice to know we would know by mid-year if she got accepted or not. </p>

<p>Scholarships are another matter, I know....but at least she could have some answers by mid-year.</p>

<p>Any other Southern schools notify after early auditions? D is also interested in Alabama, UCF, Rollins.</p>

<p>I know that Coastal does offer some students visual arts scholarships along with their early offers. I don’t think that ALL of them recieve one, but I know a few this year. Also, when you are accepted academically to the school you will recieve your academic scholarships if you qualify for them, so that can add an extra boost.</p>
