@Division1to100 Lol same here. Although getting accepted would complicate the Amherst/Cornell plans that I’ve already made
@Surfbort wow man that’s awesome. If you’ve gotten into those schools, you have a good chance of getting into Duke. Yeah with me, I am content being at my current school if nothing works out.

@CudleWudles Sure, I studied for 2 years at Northwestern, math and econ major, 3.9 GPA, 2330 SAT, leadership positions in a few extracurricular clubs, interned at a hedge fund and major pharma company, probably had strong letters of rec.
@kliu111 Thank you and impressive stats. But just curious, if you are already at Northwestern wouldn’t going to Duke be sort of a lateral move? Both are ranked top 20 in the nation academically.
@Division1to100 My reasons for transferring are personal, not academic or career-oriented. Duke is ranked higher than Northwestern, but I’d agree that it’s just splitting hairs at that point. It sounds like a line, but I really am looking for a certain community.
