<p>My friend and I are both applying to duke from the same school with nearly identical applications. He has received an invitation while I have not. Does this mean I have most likely not been accepted or are only a portion of accepted hispanics invited to the weekend?</p>
<p>Hi - I got a little nervous about this myself as we have a DS who is waiting anxiously to hear about Duke - but then I recalled that both his older siblings were accepted and were not invited to this. My oldest DS just graduated in May from Pratt!! My older DD actually chose a different school. I hope this eases your mind a bit - I have no idea how they decide who to invite but it is not all Hispanics if mine were not invited.</p>
