Duke Class of 2018 Official Waitlist Thread

@AspiringStudent My school’s grades for the second semester won’t be finalized until the first week of June so I never sent the official transcript.

Thanks guys. Best of luck! :)

Do you think we’ll find out tomorrow or maybe Tuesday?
Historically they usually come out late April.

Wait what really??? I sent my email/letter just now @chrisou

According to this, it’s implied that waitlist offers come after May 1st.

On two past threads I saw one release date the 27th and one the 29th. I would assume this would follow suit.

Yes, last year, they released the first round on the 29th of April (Monday)

Has anyone heard yet?

I just got accepted off the waitlist about an hour ago! Best of luck to you guys

Congrats @Ambition330! Have you decided if you’re going to Duke over Penn yet?

@bluedog I’m not 100% sure yet, but I’m leaning towards Duke for the ACC basketball!

Hey congrats! How did they notify you and would you mind saying where you are from/who your regional admissions officer is?

@jellydonut I was notified by phone call, but I’d rather not reveal my regional admissions officer for the sake of anonymity.

@Ambition333 CONGRATULATIONS!! Were you admitted to Pratt or Trinity?

Any others?

Ahhhhhhh just got accepted!

@teampat – is that Pratt or Trinity? Did you also get a phone call?

@teampat Did you get an email? I’m assuming you got into Trinity! Congratulations :)

@teampat‌ @Ambition330‌
Congrats guys!! Are you guys Pratt or Trinity? I am guessing Prat? Cause I always thought that Pratt usually pulls from waitlist first.

Trinity! And yeah, I received a phone call and an email. Best of luck to you guys!

@Ambition330 congratulations  did you send in a letter and everything?
