@sgopal2 @ldoc97 Is achievement about grades or about EC achievements? Also, for curriculum is that based on the secondary school report and GC comments or is your transcript compared to everyone else? I took by far the hardest courseload senior year(and all four years really) compared to everyone else in my grade but it is probably still not as good as most Asians that apply to Duke. Because of this also, my recs should be good too. Do you mind sharing your other objective stats like course rigor and grades and what you got on your document for those?
I am wondering if the testing includes subject test or even AP exam scores. Rachel Toor book does mention that Duke likes to see AP exam scores, and if so, it is possible to have 4 for a SAT score of 2350.
And if they are really changing their scoring of a very objective measure based on scores, I do not know what to say …

I meant to say race, and wrote scores instead.
@classof2017: achievement refers to high school achievement (basically your GPA). Curriculum refers to how difficult your courseload was. You will be compared to others at the same high school.
