How does Duke computer science compare to schools like Northwestern, upenn and other schools in that academic league.

Since you’ve asked about several disciplines including Engineering, Comp Sci, Econ, and Physics, seems like you don’t even know what you want, so small differences in one specific area aren’t going to make a difference. Is this information for you or something else? They’re all basically comparable. Maybe see where you get in and then you can have the chance to evaluate.
