Duke Pratt versus Trinity

I know that there have been several posts on this, but I'm yet confused.

I am an international freshman applicant for Fall 2014 (Computer Science). I do not have straight A's. My SAT score is 2240 (CR/M/W:700/800/740). My SAT Subject Tests are in Physics (790), Chemistry (800) and Mathematics (800). My extra curricular activities are geared more towards Computer Science.

Should I apply to Pratt or Trinity? I really want to take classes outside of Computer Science in college, which attracts me to Trinity. However, my profile mainly has Computer Science related activities. Is this a disadvantage for a Trinity applicant?

On the other hand, I have heard that Pratt is more statistics and score based, due to which I maybe at a disadvantage if I apply to Pratt since I do not have A's in Chemistry and English in grade 12 and my CR score is just within the range for Pratt. Is this true?

Thank you so much for your replies!

Why can’t you apply to both?

I could choose only one on the Common Application. Am I missing something here?

apply trinity

Any reasons?

You can’t apply to both. Computer Science is a major in Trinity. Computer Engineering is available in Pratt.

^ This.

You don’t have a choice, CS isn’t offered in Pratt. So I guess that resolves your dilemma, haha. Unless you’re considering Comp Eng. In that case, go through this:

Oh, then I’m surely applying to Trinity. Thank you so much, everyone!
