<p>Did anyone send an update to their admissions officer? I’m worried because I never received a reply.</p>
<p>Collegeinfo1994: I’ve sent two updates and the admissions officer replies each time. But don’t worry, it may vary between officers.</p>
<p>I never got a reply either. So, I sent my update to <a href=“mailto:undergrad-admissions@duke.edu”>undergrad-admissions@duke.edu</a>. When I sent it there, I got a reply. </p>

<p>I received an unprompted email from my admissions counselor about a week ago asking me about my transcript. Should I take this as any sort of sign?</p>
<p>What did the counselor ask about your transcript?</p>
<p>The counselor may have tried to get a better clarification, because they may have been unsure, so they chose to ask you.</p>

<p>hmm strange that they ask for materials 1 week before decisions. My guess is that they’re either debating to admit you/waitlist you or waitlist you/reject you. </p>
<p>Judging from your phenomenal SATI, GPA and Extracurriculars, I’d say they were between admit and waitlist. :)</p>
<p>There’s a whole list of admissions officers on Duke’s website and I just chose the one who was in charge of Asia. It varies, some focus on intl students and some focus on a few states.</p>

<p>When you guys log into your Duke account, do you see the checklist of your materials? I do.</p>
<p>However, yesterday, I logged into my account and I saw a message saying “Your Duke admissions decision will be released March 30th, 2011.” Obviously the date was wrong, but when I logged in today, I see my checklist.</p>
<p>What do you see when you guys log in?</p>

I am going to post this on some of the threads I see you in so maybe you will see it and we can figure this out.</p>
<p>As for the portal, sometime on the day decisions are released, the page will change to a waiting page, and when the decisions are posted, it automatically refreshes and shows you your letter.</p>
<p>@whatsausername They asked me what grade I currently maintain in my community college class (the CC operates on a semester system, so the grade from this class was not included in the midyear report). The grade is an A, so maybe this will bode well? I’m not sure…I’m sort of convinced I’ll get yet another frustrating waitlist, haha. </p>
