Mine has 8 documents listed for Finaid, and like 6 of them have march 25th as the date for some reason
What are the docs? Can you click on and open like FAFSA & CSS? Are they docs you sent as support for your financial aid request?
Hi, I can click open both the FAFSA and CSS, and the additional documents listed are some w2s, tax returns, and other documents that I submitted through IDOC. However, I haven’t had all these documents listed on my Duke portal before. I actually just noticed them there tbh.
Do you also have anything updated on March 25? The documents I have updated then are the W2 and Federal Tax Returns.
Yes I have the same and it was on March 25th. Odd, LOL
For those of you commenting on the financial documents, Duke’s FA office just imported all of those from IDOC recently. My D noticed it because some of hers showed as not received/red X so we called. They confirmed that their process is different from some other schools, they were completing the import, and the portal would be updated within a few days. A few days later all items showed as received/green check. So I don’t think this is one of those things to read into… what do you call it… admissions astrology? Haha
Yes, I emailed them about documents they marked as missing a few weeks or so ago and they informed me on their late Finaid process. I was just noting that the amount of docs listed had increased in my portal, however I assure I was not insinuating anything.
No worries and I didn’t take it that way. But from some of the other threads I know some kids read into every little portal change looking for a “sign”. For some it is fun, for others it causes anxiety. But hey, I’m just a parent so what do I know? Good luck to you!
I totally get it, good luck to your senior! Thank you
We just got the email with the decision instructions, one day late. Anybody else?
my financial aid documents have 3/10, and i only have 6 things
I didnt even submit my css profile because I didnt want to pay $16
They provide fee waiver code If you ask for
Hi all, were we ever able to see our address in the ‘My Application Details and Updates’ section, or was it never there?
I feel like it used to be but I’m most likely getting muddled up between other portals and Duke’s one…
I also don’t see it and I don’t remember how was it before.
From reddit: “not to start any portal myths or anything but does anyone else see status: “rejected” on the page source?” here’s the link Reddit - Dive into anything
Fake myths
