How did it go? What questions were you asked?

I thought it went pretty well. Like someone said earlier it’s more of a conversation than an interview. They asked me:

Why Duke?
Why did I pick my major?
Questions about my school/town
What do I do in school?
What I do in various clubs?

Any information on how many Ed applications Duke got this year ?

Someone told me it was up 28% over last year!!!

Is this true? My daughter submitted ED 10/25 but hasn’t heard from anyone about an interview yet.

Did she indicate she wanted to be interviewed on the application?

I would also have her check her spam folder just in case.

I wouldn’t worry about it as Duke makes it clear you are not at a disadvantage if you don’t have an interview.

Duke sent a message to college counselors.

Yes she did state that she would like an interview. We have been checking her email and spam folder often. Oh well I won’t worry about it too much! She will land where she belongs :heart:

Hey y’all! Do you we know when decisions will come out (based on last years and whatnot)?

Decisions and some stats will probably be released Dec 15. I’m guessing the acceptance rate will be about 13% this year for ED, maybe 4% for RD.
