Also: National merit commended, used to play the oboe (schedule conflict kept me from being in the band this year), have worked as a lifeguard and a football coach... I think that's it.

Duke: Slight Reach
Rice: Match
Northwestern: Match
Wake Forest: Safe Match (?)
Vanderbilt: Match (?)
Washington University: Safe Match
Notre Dame: Safe Match
UCLA: Match
UCB: Match

also... im sort of a legacy for Duke and Wash U, my aunt used to do a lot of local admissions work for Duke and my sis does admissions work (interviews, etc.) for Wash U

I'd be more conservative and treat Duke, Rice, Northwestern, Berkeley, and Wash U as "reach". While your SAT I is great, your SAT II are just alright. Your ECs are not very spectacular but if you do have the ability to compete at D-I, then it'd open up everything because even the average SAT for athletes at Duke/Northwestern is just around 1200. I went to Northwestern and I know they LOVE to see good responds to their own essay topics (they don't accept common application). A great one can get you in.
