Duke vs. Carolina (OOS)

Which one is the tougher to get into from OOS and ED/EA (this is important because I will apply ED to 1)? I like both schools, but I was just wondering which one is harder. Albeit an old version (2004 maybe), Fiske Guide said Duke is easier on OOS than Carolina, so would this mean I'd have a better chance at Duke from OOS? This sounds unrealistic because Duke is a lesser ivy type selective school? let me know please. btw if u need to check my stats, do find more posts by california_love8 and check for chances posts. btw I'm posting this in the duke forum 2, so dont call me out for this since I'm saying it up front.

Yeah Duke is probably easier to get into from OOS just because it's private and don't take nearly as many instate kids (proportionately) as UNC which is really hard for in state kids to get into.

Hmm. I have a hard time believing that that Duke is easier vs OOS UNC...

See: http://admissions.unc.edu/faq/applying.htm#outofstate - UNC out-of-state admit is around 19% (or lower, generally) and Duke's this year - its most selective for admissions - was 21% overall.
