<p>what do you want to study, how big a community do you want, do you want urban or rural, what kind of social life are you looking for. if people just went to the "best" college everyone would be deciding between H and P based on last years rankings...</p>
<p>I'll rank:</p>

<li>Princeton (only a hair under, IMO - could easily be tied)</li>
<li>Dartmouth</li>
<li>Duke</li>
<li>Cornell</li>
<li>Hopkins</li>
</ol>
<p>Just my preferences - this could vary based on your preferences (major, ECs, etc.)...</p>
<p>[And I think you can switch 4 and 5 if you feel like it - I don't really have preferences once I get to that point]</p>

<p>haha, not really - Yale and Princeton would be great options in that respect (in different ways), although so would the rest of them...</p>
<p>imdanumb1 - I suggest go visit. I haven't visited, but that is only b/c I wanted to wait to see where I actually got in before I spent money on places that would reject me (actually, smart, probably saved some money now...). None of us can give you a straight answer. I can tell you what i would do... Vivaldi can tell you what he/she would do... we can all tell you what we would do, but that doesn't help YOU, and you are likely to get different answers that will only confuse and clog your head. </p>
<p>btw, very envious right now... I think I would be happy at: Pton, Yale, Dartmouth as absolute top choices... share the wealth?</p>

<p>obe more thing i got like $40000 in grants n stuff from princeton so i only pay $2000</p>
<p>Yeah Princeton is exceptionally generous with the financial aid.... hot damn</p>
<p>if its medicine, JHU is obviously the bomb.</p>
<p>In terms of medicine .. the best schools
JHU, Duke, Yale
for other stuff
Princeton (no-loan fin. aid covering all of fin. need, suburban, eating clubs, residential colleges)
Yale (residential colleges, secret societies..)
Cornell (Good engineering program)
I don't know anything about Darmouth.</p>
<p>dang, yes, pton has the great fin aid, but holy cow! i almost forgot that yale has secret societies!!!</p>
<p>haha, i will never forget... i have htis teacher (young one) who went to yale... he told us when we were talking about top colleges about how he was in a secret society! we were all like... ooooooo.... ahhh...wow... cool</p>
