Has anyone heard of this? It appears that's what they switched my daughter to. Instead of Dystra triple, her housing now says Dykstra S. With all the triples, I'd think they would have enough roomates. She's sent in another change request, but if it doesn't go through - How bad would this be for a Freshman?

Gosh, I'LL be her roommate! =]

I'm stuck in a triple in Hedrick and I really wanted a Dykstra double.

where can you check your housing?

A single? In Dykstra?

I would call and ask HAO (Housing) what's up. If it really is a single, and you can afford it (it will be significantly more than a double or triple) then take it and run. Seriously.

Housing said its definately a single, and yes its a bit pricey. Do you think it would be social enough?

Well, I've lived in doubles with no social interaction, and a single where I got social interaction galore.

If your daughter is social, she'll be just fine.

How do you know if your Change of Assignment Request worked? For some reason, I just found out that my building HAS changed from Dykstra to DeNeve Plaza (I requested it as my first choice) but I have not received any notification through e-mail or anything.

Peculiar, no? If it is true, I have to somehow make up the extra payment resulting from my change, but I still don't know what's up because they haven't really notified me or anything. Perhaps it's coming soon?

Also, can anyone tell me how much the FIRST INITIAL PAYMENT was for a RESIDENTIAL PLAZA DOUBLE WITH PRIVATE BATHROOM with PREMIER 19 meal plan (Plan A Monthly)? I seem to have misplaced that chart with the payment schedule and they don't give past information for some reason. And I can't retrieve it because it says I have no housing offers at the moment.

Never mind. I found the information.
