Hey, I realize that Dyson has an undergrad program where as Johnson Doesn't, but can somebody please explain the difference between the graduate branches of these schools? Why do they need two different business schools?

Dyson is the undergraduate program of AEM - Applied Economics and Management. This program resides under College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and originally was formed for the study of Agricultural Business.

Johnston is the Graduate MBA program, nothing more. The two different units (and names) exist due to $ reasons: by keeping a separate program in CALS, the Dyson program gets state funding since CALS is partially state funded.

You can’t get an MBA from Dyson, only a master’s degree in agricultrual business or something along those lines. 95% of the strength of Dyson comes from the undergraduate program (AEM).

If you’re looking at an MBA –> Johnson.
UG –> Dyson
