<p>yeah i'm a girl! I heard last year ED applicants got an email on the monday before they heard telling them when to check. since we didn't get an email telling us that it was this week does it mean we will not find out by this weekend?</p>

<p>ALSO, even though I kind of know the answer to this question- do you think calling the admissions office to ask would be a bad idea? I proposed the idea to my parents this afternoon and I got a "are you KIDDING me?" expression and whole lot of arm waving. haha, I guess that in itself was an answer but what do you guys think?</p>

<p>They're probably busy enough as it is... they might move the A to an R if you **** them off enough. ;) Nah, but I guess it couldn't hurt... you'll probably get an undergrad who doesn't deal with the admissions itself.</p>

<p>ughhhhhhh</p>
<p>That alone should be indication of how 'THE CALL' went. I guess I should elaborate. First I had to figure out how to accordingly choose the menu numbers so I WOULDN'T get an automated message. Then when I finally got through, I asked something along the lines of "I understand early decision applicants will be notified before Dec15 but has the admissions office determined a more specific date" (...and the additional nervous laugh at the end...) The girl basically then just said what I already knew: the admissions are 'somewhat rolling' (I'm not sure what the 'somewhat' part means...) in that applicants are notified as decisions are made so there's no way she could give me a more specific time range.</p>
<p>So frustrated right now. Eh oui, c'est la vie n'est-ce pas?</p>
