e mail ignored by school

I sent an email to this school and it was ignored! is this normal for them to ignore requests for info at this school?

Emails do not always go through. Try a phone call.

I’ve had the same thing happen. My son toured and had a follow-up question – sent an email with a question;no response. In the meantime,he keeps getting"priority app" invitations including one that says “Did you receive our email?” He replied that he did but that he had a follow up question. Not a good way to show personal attention that the school prides itself on.

I tried again a month later, same thing happened! I guess they run more like a big state school, and do not really care!?!?
It does hurt my view of the school. their are plenty of lac’s that respond in a heartbeat to e mail’s and are always super helpful.

We had immediate response from our state admission counselor once by email, other time by phone call. Try to call the main admission office.

they finally made good. disappointed it took two tries and such a long time but, still an amazing school and I would not hold a little thing against the whole place.

They say the devil is in the details. Maybe this does offer a window in to their soul…i would keep it in mind myself.

My son and I visited last week. We found the Wooster admissions people to be very friendly and accomodating, both before and after the visit. They responded quickly to several e-mails sent prior to the visit, and made the visit as easy and useful as possible. No complaints here, only compliments. In terms of the soul of the place, I have visited quite a few schools (this is my 3rd child), I am not sure I have visited one where everyone seemed as genuinely enthusiastic and happy to be there as at Wooster.

We also had a good visit at Wooster, our S loved it and plans to apply.
