<p>I received an e-mail saying that I was considered an alternate for the Charpie Scholarship, which is apparently potentially full tuition for HS leadership.</p>
<p>Does that basically mean that I'm ADMITTED TO CMU!?!?!?!??!!?</p>

<p>Congratulations!!! Its the most prestigious scholarship they give out at CMU. The pay for your lodging and flight tickets for your family and they have you visit CMU for a weekend. Then they have you compete in all these leadership activities (like the Popsicle bridge etc.). Some lucky students who demonstrate leadership capability get full rides to CMU!</p>
